It is with much regret and sadness that we are offering  04 AY 46 for sale.  We inherited this 6 x 4 TACR2 from Gideon Watt on the sad occassion of his passing away in March of this year.  From Gids` research notes, this particular TACR was originally based at RAF Odiham and also saw service in the former Republic of Yugoslavia, having been based in Split.  He also believed it served in Norway.  If there is any anyone who can give this vehicle a good home and preserve it then please contact me.  This was Gids` baby and unfortunately we do not have the knowledge, or financial support, to maintain it as deserves.  Whilst it would be great if we could "gift" it on Gids` behalf we are not fanancially in that situation, so please do call with any sensible offer.

Thank you for everyone who has shown an interest in the TACR.

We had someone call within hours of the forum posts and ad on Milweb and it has now been sold.

The new owner has promised to open up an album on SAW so we can all follow its progress, and hopefully he will keep to his word.  We understand he has contacted Walt about this.

It was a tough decision to let this vehicle go and even harder to see it leave but we would like to thank everyone for their help and interest.
