Hi there folks this is just a quick one to let you all know that i have been in contact with the SLSLRC and i am waitng for the paperwork to come through for a club stand down at Brighton on this year's run.I have requested for the stand to be placed on the prom side of the road as close to the arena as possible as i would like to put on a demonstration in the afternoon of the TACR's doing what they do best and8) that's getting things wet. When i metioned this to the organiser's they were up for it.I have also asked thet we are next door to the Range Rover Register,as it is the 40th Aniversary of the Range Rover and the 25th of the RRR and it would be nice to have as many different varints of the Marque to-gether as poss.

I have asked for space for 6-8 Cars as soon as i have anymore info i will post it up here,so to get the ball rolling people and cars attending : Warrick Green/Rob Balcomb--Ex RN TACR 2 (93 RN 17) C592 JYC8)8)

This is to let everybody know that the club stand has been booked and we will be on the promenade side of the road with the RRR next door to us.This is on the proviso that we arrive down at brighton all together or as much as possible. The reason for this is getting parked up as for those of us that have done the run before know how much of a nightmare that can be.Members and vehicles confirmed so far for the run are as follows:

                                                                                                Water   Camping at C/Palace

Warrick Green & Rob Balcomb -C592 JYC(93RN17)      Y                        Y

Walt Davis                                       F529 MCA                       ?                        Y

Brian Rollason                               F613 JUE                        Y                        Y

There is still room for more vehicles as we should have space for up to 8 cars. The entry fee for this Year's Run is £30 and that includes as usual the run plaque and a free run t-shirt and also the camping at crystal palace on the saturday night is free and gratis.Entry forms can be downloaded from the website www.london2brighton.org.uk so get cracking lads and get your forms in before it's too late.so i hope to see you all at the palace on the saturday for a few beers and a curry and then off down to brighton for fun and frollicks by the sea

Come on lads who else is up for coming on the run this year?????? Lets try and beat last year's total of 5 TACR's.As i have said in my first post the SLSLRC are up for us to put on a demonstration in the afternoon,so it will be something else for the punters to have a look at,that is why we have got our stand on the prom side of the road, also don't forget the camping at the palace the night before which is also a good social event.

OK Having seen the start time for the first 'wave' to hit Brighton I have decided to go with Warrick in convoy on Saturday afternoon to CP. I have found my 'storm proofed' tent, a nicer sleeping bag and I'm takin the heater (big softie) aswell...
