If you send a message via FORMS Submission I cannot reply unless YOU provide a contact e mail/address. Just checked with WEBs info as I thought I could reply via this form....:/

Hi to all, Happy New year!
Due to the large amount of inappropriate postings and spam this page is now hiden from the site. I may close the page once I have checked if the use of it by genuine members/interested parties is warranted?

I have uploaded some more documents in this section but all I can see is still converting when I click on the link.
Not sure if you see it too?
If still an issue can someone provide the link to a free download area for these documents...

Apologies for the delay in accepting your memebership requests. I have now done this but it does ask that you complete your profile. Not sure what this means but I have no control over this so I advise that you do as much as you can as Im not sure if it prevents your entering the site in any way until completed.

Pleased to report that a message from Jaguar Land Rover requesting that my TACR2a be displayed at their new Heritage Drive Centre in Warwickshire for several months. It was collected a couple of weeks ago by transport sent by JLR and will be on static display under cover from May until September.
Their site can be viewed here: JLR,Fen End.

I have tonight updated the site and new members should have been accepted. It was the lack of an app that had caused this issue.

I have been without a decent internet for some months due to a move that has been delayed and I am in between homes!
I hope to have a new home in the near future and can catch up on the site and all its additions and updates.
Apoligies if I have not replied or contacted anyone who may have posted/asked a question.

Please take a moment of your time to read the new page added to our group. This vehicle has an historic interest to our group as it's the 1st Commando built. There is a rumour that the owner is going to convert it back to the 'original' 2nd production Range Rover Classic.
It would be a dreadful shame to lose a '1st' of one type to re-build a copy of the '2nd' of another. I say copy as not much if anything would be 'original' and to attempt to sell or claim it as the 2nd production Class...Read Full Post »

After a terrible 2012 I hope this year will be a great improvement especially as it's the tenth year of the formation of the group.
I would like to thank those who attended shows last year to keep the group in the public eye often as 'Billy no mates' as many were unable to attend through other commitments and issues. The tough times we are curren...Read Full Post »

Found this old post on the Land rover forum(2008 )
"On level ground, all six wheels have an even contact pressure.. But on any uneven ground, without compensation for the rear bogey, any one of the rear axels could be carrying more weight than the other.. If your going to make an effective 6x4 you must design a rear suspension that will spread the weight evenly between all the rear axels over all surfaces. Great examples of this are with the Sammell 6x6 which uses a rocking beam between...Read Full Post »
